Some-what Normal?

Today is the first time in days that I have actually felt more normal. No coughing, slept through the night, woke up early, aches & pains are missing. We have a remote home on 20 acres. The husband's shop is 1/8 mile down from the house. We have a driveway alarm at the gate, so I am AWARE when there is somebody driving into or onto the property. Have had semi trucks with trailers turn around in our driveway. The other day, a car full of people from a neighboring state pulled ALL the way in the driveway and up to the shop...parked QUITE a long time because it took me a while to get down there, and then the BIMBO was on her cell-phone to get directions? I blocked the entracnce and yelled at them as she tried quickly to pull out. She ALMOST backed into me...I had to honk the horn as she didn't even look in her rear-view mirror~! CAN'T THEY READ...NO TRESPASSING! We have 4 frigging signs on the entrance gates & more by the tree at the shop; all CLEARLY visible. Idiots. She said she was told on the phone she was at the wrong place. SO? What the heck do I care? Do it somewhere else...not on MY property. But..had ANOTHER trespasser on our property early this morning. Electric company sub-contractor in an UN-MARKED vehicle drove on the property, but did not come to the house. I drove down to the shop with the gun, cell-phone and dog. (She does look menancing even though she is deathly frightened of strangers) Asked him if he could read the signs. He had a crappy attitude..."we have right to access 24 hours a day." told me he was 'replacing' the meter at the shop, and then would come to the house and do the same. TOLD him to let somebody know he is here, otherwise, next time...bang bang. I AM A SOLITARY woman here during the day. Anything could happen. Do these people not REALIZE THAT? Idiots. We have had thefts, rapes, murders, kidnappings, and torture around here. I am only protecting myself and my property. DUH...Why do I have to be nice? Why do I have to put up with them? I DON'T! Well, I came down to the house and called the electric co-op to actually verify he WAS supposed to be here. Told the woman that we should have been informed since he was not in a "official" company vehicle and had offered no ID. DUH. HAVE THEY NEVER HEARD OF TERRORISM? duh. Would it have KILLED him to come to the house and notify somebody that he was here? NO. NO, instead he has to get this pissy attitude when he is trespassing on MY property. I don't know who the heck he is...HE is a STRANGER. He could even have fake ID. Maybe he is sabotaging my electric meter... But the woman got an attitude right away. "If you are making a threat, we will have to get security involved". Told her I was NOT making a threat, just that he had not provided ID, he was driving a private vehicle, and he had not informed anybody he was here. THAT is trespassing. AND I can SHOOT him if I so desire. Would it not have made better sense on their part to call in advance, as a COURTESY? To be a LITTLE diplomatic to profer a better image of their company to the customer? What ever happened to CUSTOMER SERVICE?(they have our f-ing phone number because the woman related it to me before I could tell her). The woman I talked with said it was "normal maintenance" EXCUSE ME? When is it NORMAL to go out and REPLACE a METER? Any WHY are they having the meter reader do it????? Also, he lied to me and said he would be up to the house to replace the meter at the house, but he left a short while after my phone call to the co-op...? Wonder if the service rep told him to leave? This is SO bizarre. I am writing a letter of complaint. They are not under the purveyance of the Public Utilities Commission for the State as I have tried in the past to complain to the PUC because they are a "PRIVATE" entity? EXCUSE ME? ISN'T that the type of company that SHOULD be under their regulation? Small water communities are? Why isn't this Public Co-Op fall under their regulation? Told the hubby today that he is installing our gates TODAY! No more ANYBODY coming onto the property for any reason. We will put gigantic rocks on either side of the gates in the spring to block anybody that wants to drive around. No fence as we have not found a fence we can agree upon. This is a page I scrapped today. It is an example of "cutout" as the picture extends beyond the frame. Kinda cute, but I GOTTA quit with the black. I looked over the pages I have done lately. About 3 of them are black! I re-read this and it sounded somewhat as if I was in a bad mood. I'm not. Other than people tromping around the property, I am having a great day! Already baked weiner winks this morning for Isabelle & Greg. Will go to get the mail in a litle while, and then maybe do some paper scrapping.
