Then went to Costco, Safeway, Hastings, Borders, and Office Max.At Office Max, I turned in 8 printer cartridges and will donate the free reams of paper to Kelsey's high school - Timberlake. Also found Magnetic Paper there, and when I got home, printed my scrapbook pages on it. They are about 3"x3"; most of them are still easily decipherable. They look adorable on the fridge. Now we have the pleasure of seeing this work everyday. Greg enjoys seeing them there. See Pic.
Hastings & Borders have NO digital scrapbooking books. Imagine that. A bookstore with no books in it. Borders said they could "special order" it into the store and have it within 7-10 days. Told them I could order in on Amazon and have it within 3-5 days!
I am sending Kelsey some of my paper scrapping stuff for her birthday, since I don't do it much anymore. I have a few things I need to put together now, tho, for paper scrap pages. The paper and embellishments are sitting out on the bar in the kitchen and will stay there until I have the motivation to create. Also warned Greg that I have some BeautifuL Valentine's Day paper, so I had BETTER have some good pics to scrap for that! haha.
Got a lot of cute things for Kelsey last night. Costco had a butt-load of colored paper for scrapbooking - 320 sheets with color on both sides! And more scrapbook albums..found black ones this time instead of the gosh-awful yellow and Easter egg pink;
Almost forgot! At Costco, we purchased the pink PLAYTEX TAMPONS in the mega-size 88 for Kelsey's annual birthday/christmas gift! This is family TRADITION that we started quite a few years ago. I had run out of presents for her, so got her those and wrapped them one Christmas. She complained that it wasn't an "official" Xmas present, but it turned into a tradition. She attempted to explain it to her husband, Matt; but he just didn't understand. Suppose you have to be there at the beginning. When I was IMing Matt yesterday, I reminded him about the morning cupcake/candle/happy birthday singing he has to do on her birthday. He TOLD me he had it under control. Whatever that means!
Well, to get back to my Tampon subject. This one is special because it has a bonus small pack of another 12. So Kelsey gets 88 + 12 = 100 if my math is accurate, and you realize that I am not that good with numbers!
Safeway had a cute pink and white lollipop; also red M&M chocolate candies with romantic sayings...Trust Me...I Dig U...U & Me...Falling 4 U...My Princess...True Love...Hi Gorgeous...U R A 10. How cute! All these were just asking to be purchased for Kelsey's b-day. I absolutely ADORE that she has her birthday on Valentine's Day!
We will pack all her stuff up today in the priority boxes and if Greg comes home early, will drop them at the Post Office. He forgot to get additional boxes the last time he was at the postal office, so we have to pick some up.
We did not have time to pick up a foam mattress pad for Isabelle, but will do that this weekend. She also desperately needs a bath. She played in the shop this weekend with the guys and got oily/dirty. However, we picked up doggie cookys at Safeway, and we had already stopped at Wendy's for her regular...4 bacon cheeseburgers at 99c each.
When we came home last night and unloaded all our purchases, Greg immediately started feeling worse. You could hear it in his throat. He passed out in the recliner with a blanket. This cold is horrible.
I woke up with a crick in my neck this morning. Have been looking at everything sideways.

Valentine's Day Birthday Presents
Worked on scrapping yesterday. IM'd to Matt yesterday, which was unusual as I almost never get to talk to him.
Then, UPS and FED Ex dropped off stuff for Greg. Dean came to fix the fireplace-the thermo-coupler was bad again.
Isabelle was SO terrified of Dean, that when he walked up the back stairs on the deck, she jumped off the other end. Thankfully, there was about 3 feet of snow there that she landed in, but she was nuts. Barking at him violently. People think she is massively big and vicious. She is just a big barking lunatic!
Picked up a couple rear ends for Greg last night from Chad in Hayden; briefly met and talked with his wife, Amy who seemed kinda nice. Greg related that she is a nurse and makes big bucks and really seems to enjoy her job. Wow. Imagine that - job satisfaction. Wish I could ever have found that.

SKWERLS, Sickness, and Milky Mammaries
Well, Beck can't drink beer, the most she can do is milk according to the Chat last night...So I have put a note in my datebook not to invite her to my next Kegger.
I must have come in post-milk and mammary discussion. Never have known women to talk about their udders so much!
This sick, flu, bronchitis will just NOT go away. After coughing all night long and getting little sleep, I arose at 10am. Wandering around in a dither, finally becoming coherent by noon. Still suffering through fever and sweats. (not the suit kind)
Isabelle is literally fit to be tied as she has not had a walk or been out of the house in days! (well, except to pee) I keep explaining that I do not have the energy to do anything with her and promising her great rewards if she is patient just a little while longer...Do I Lie?
During the Chat at the Shabby Princess last night, I mentioned the Skwerl episode. I have documented it via scrap page. Considerably cleaner than it could be...I eliminated evidence of blood and guts and carnage...
I have one more layout to post, then will "hit the hay"; tho I don't know why because I anticipate no rest. Yeah. Yeah. No rest for the wicked...
Well, Hogs & Quiches.

Will This Flu Never Go Away?
Coughing all last night, I did not get any sleep at all. This morning I woke with a fever. It seems like I will never recover my health.
Poor Isabelle doesn't understand and is whining pitifully for her mommy. We were unable to take her on her usual weekend walk and she doesn't understand.
I have so much to do, and want to push myself to do it; knowing that if I don't rest, I will never feel better. Today, Greg will watch TV and rest in his easy chair. He won't be glued to the Superbowl as he detests watching sports; but he will watch automotive shows. As soon as I am done logging this, I will go to take a nap in bed.
Overall, just a boring day spent at home.

Not So Sick
Wow. I feel dazed. Lost a day. Yesterday was spent mostly in bed, slightly comatose with the flu. IM'd my daughter in the morning for a little while; then spent the afternoon in bed.
Later last night I felt better. We viewed half of the show..."Grizzly Man" on the Discovery Channel; hopefully we will catch the whole thing when it re-airs.
Today our computer guy, Ty...came over to assist while Greg installs Ty's lift kit; I will have pictures scrapped later of the results. And also will have pics on our website. www.rockymtnoffrd.com
Ty helped me with a couple things on my computer and also promised to get me an "external hard-drive". Yippee! My main man! Since updating my memory, I am working at the speed of sound. Just too bad that my satellite doesn't work at the same speed.
The boys came up to the house and had weiner winks for lunch. Isabelle just loves her weiner winks. Gives me an idea for a scrap page!

Number 1 Son In Law
Really sick today with fever, so I took too many ibuprofen and one of Greg's pain-killers. Then passed out. I think I might have done a scrap page of Matt...which is attached here.
It snowed again today-about 3-4 inches. Then the weather turned to rain.
The pilot light on the fireplace stove went out and refuses to stay lit. This is the same problem we had with it last year, and replaced the element. Greg has called the stove tech and he is going to come out soon.
Greg brought me a gift of suntanning gift certificate and a coffee cup from town...

Eggy Challenge
I am busy working on the Egger Challenge for the thank you notes. There are more than 5 digital scrappers that have influenced me thus far, but I will narrow it down.
Will check back later tonight to add my "thank you" card.
Feeling a little bit better today. The headache is gone and I don't feel so tired. Still coughing.
The electric company techs came out today to evaluate our power 'surging' and found that the meter was not plugged in correctly and making contact; trying to blame it on us.
Propane tank was also filled today. Wow. Expensive.
I got the Thank You card done. Also did a scrap page of Matt.
